Evening descent of the Adige to Verona with 3 wine tastings
Discovering the river and the architectural beauties of Verona from an unusual point of view! A particular descent that will also be an opportunity to taste Veronese wines in the three stages of the aperitif rafting on the Adige.
The navigation begins at our base at the Bottagisio Sport Center where the first aperitif is offered with cheese platters and salami from local producers combined with Garganega Brut “La corte del pozzo” from the Fasoli Gino winery in Colognoli ai Colli (VR).
After 45 minutes of navigation, we stop in the middle of the river in front of the marvelous arches of the Scaligero bridge to taste the Borgoletto Soave DOC. Finally, having reached the eighteenth-century river Customs House in the Filippini area, the third tasting is offered – Bardolino DOC “La Corte del Pozzo” accompanied by some snacks. It will also be possible to visit the Adige Museum housed inside the building.
An itinerant rafting aperitif that combines the beauty of Verona seen from the river with the tasting of local wines in unique locations that can only be reached from the river. All enriched with our tales of the city’s river history.
For navigation we use rafting boats, each of which can accommodate a maximum of 12 people in addition to the F.I.Raft river guide.
Participants will be provided with a life jacket and, for those who wish, a paddle. At the height of the Ponte della Vittoria and the wonderful stone bridge, dating back to Roman times, participants will be able to experience the little thrill of passing over the waves of the river.

including river gear, F.I.Raft. guide, three aperitifs, Adige Musem Visit, shuttle to our base and insurance.

Minimum age: 18
You don’t need to know how to swim or have previous experiences.
In case of rain, the trip can be canceled or postponed with at least 2 hours notice.

TIMETABLE
- h 17.45: meeting at the San Fermo bus stop (Stradone San Fermo, 2 – Verona) to reach our base at Chievo – Bottagisio Sports Center by private shuttle. Alternatively, it is possible to arrange the meeting at Centro Bottagisio (free parking) at 18.00 and take advantage of the return shuttle at the end of the activity.
- h 18.00: registration and first aperitif.
- h 18.30: boarding.
- h 19.15: arrival near Castelvecchio for the second step of the itinerary for second wine tasting and stories about the ancient use of the river.
- h 20.00: arrival at the former river customs house in the historic center, last aperitif and illustration of the Adige Museum.
- h 20.30: end of activity.
On dates from August 26 onwards, the times are all 30 minutes earlier.
