Team Building Activities on the Adige in Verona

For a group of people accustomed to working together, our activity is an incentive to develop, in a recreational context, the sense of collaboration in order to accomplish a common purpose in unusual circumstances and, at the same time, the sense of competitiveness towards other teams or their own team mates.
The descent is performed by allowing each team, or potential leaders among them, to guide their own boat under the supervision of the raft guide. A sequence of flags have been previously positioned along the river by one of our kayakers and crews race to get them before others do, as our guides give them directions.

In the first part of the trip, before entering the old part of Verona, our licensed river guides (one per boat) will instruct their team on how to paddle and steer the boat. One mile after the put-in point all rafts are brought into alignment and the race starts. From that moment on, guides don’t use their paddles if not strictly necessary. The team’s goal is to get as many flags as possibile. Each flag picked up is one point for the team. In last part of the descent we organize a speed race and more point are related to the placing. Each raft is overseen all the time by one of our licensed river guides sitting in the middle of the it and steering the boat only if necessary.

Our rafting base is located at the put-in point of the excursion and it’s available for meetings and picnics. We have bar-restaurant, parking lots, meeting room, changing rooms, gym and guest house.

The excursion may also include a visit to our brand-new Museum of river Adige.

Take-out point in the green area of Boschetto is also available for picnic at end of the descent.

As far as extra-aquatic activity is concerned, Adige Rafting offers the Meeting & Meeting room inside its premises, at the Bottagisio Sport Center, equipped with 80 seats, and video system with projector and audio system.
